Gavin Behrens graduated in 1985 from SUNY Stony Brook. He has worked with adolescents and their families for over 25 years. Mr. Behrens Directed the Outpatient Division of Children and Family services at CPC Health/Chestnut Lodge Hospital in Rockville, Maryland, and Northern Berkshire Mental Health Association in North Adams, Massachusetts. He completed a 4-year postgraduate training program in psychotherapy and currently is a faculty member at the Washington School of Psychiatry and Assistant Clinical Professor of Clinical Psychology at the George Washington University School of Professional Psychology. He has taught at Catholic University and the University of Massachusetts. Mr. Behrens has experience in emergency care, school, home, community based, outpatient, employee assistance, and private practice settings.
